ThyssenKrupp Steel recently announced several changes for the Management Board of Hoesch Hohenlimburg GmbH.

The moves are prompted by the retirement of Chief Controller Hanns Joachim Tillmanns on December 31, 2005, after many years of meritorious service. TKS says the personnel measures have been implemented to help ensure a smooth hand-over of responsibility and management continuity.

As of October 1, 2005, Dr. Susanne Berendes was to assume responsibility for the Technology and Controlling function on the Management Board of Hoesch Hohenlimburg GmbH. She will become Chair of the Management Board effective January 1, 2006 after the departure of Dr. Ulrich Roeske, who is moving to the Management Board of Rasselstein GmbH, Andernach. Until further notice, Dr. Berendes will also continue in her position as Head of Corporate Planning/Order Systems at ThyssenKrupp Stahl AG in Duisburg.

Additionally, Michael Stausberg also joined the Management Board as Chief Sales Officer. He had been Vice President of Sales for medium-wide strip in Hohenlimburg for many years. Human Resources Director Heinz-Günther Dachrodt is to continue as Head of Personnel/Social Policy.
