Timken to Increase SBQ Product Prices
10/22/2007 - Timken plans to increase base prices on hot-rolled, cold-finished, and single-thermal-treated special bar quality products by $30 per ton.
The Timken Co. announced it will increase base prices on hot-rolled, cold-finished, and single-thermal-treated special bar quality (SBQ) products by $30 per ton.
The company noted that raw material surcharges would remain in effect. Additionally, the price increases for double- and triple-thermal-treated product that were announced in June 2007 will remain in effect and are not affected by this announcement.
The new price increases are effective with shipments beginning on Dec. 1, 2007.
