The Timken Co. has announced it will increase prices on cold-drawn carbon and alloy seamless mechanical tubing by up to 30%, depending on size and product specification.
The price increase is effective with shipments beginning on October 1, 2010.
The company noted that existing raw material surcharges would remain in effect.
