ThyssenKrupp Stainless USA Changes Name to Outokumpu Stainless USA; Seeks to Fill 150 New Positions
01/08/2013 - As a result of the sale of ThyssenKrupp’s stainless unit to Outokumpu, ThyssenKrupp Stainless USA has changed its name to Outokumpu Stainless USA and is looking to fill 150 new full time positions.
As a result of the sale of ThyssenKrupp’s stainless unit to Outokumpu, ThyssenKrupp Stainless USA has changed its name to Outokumpu Stainless USA.
The company is holding a job fair on Saturday 12 January 2013 from 10am–2pm at the AIDT Erich Heine Learning Center in Calvert, Ala., to fill 150 full time positions, including operator, maintenance, electrical and mechanical positions at base wages between $19-27/hour, plus incentives. The positions will fulfill the remaining shift positions at the company’s world class melt shop in Calvert that came on line late in 2012, as well as some additional positions in its cold rolling mill as it continues to ramp up full operations.

With the completion of the merger between Outokumpu and ThyssenKrupp Stainless USA, the new combined company becomes the largest stainless manufacturer in the world.
