thyssenkrupp Shakes Up Executive Board With New Appointments

Martin Stillger has been chosen to succeed Klaus Keysberg as executive board chairman. Stillger has been with thyssenkrupp since 2008 and was most recently chief executive officer (CEO) of thyssenkrupp Schulte and the Western Europe and Technical Services operating units. Keysberg will remain on the board as the member responsible for Steel Europe and Materials Services.

Additionally, chief operating officer (COO) Ilse Henne has been named to the newly created position of chief transformation officer (CTO). Henne, who was appointed COO in January 2019, will be responsible for the company’s efforts to drive transformation and growth of its materials distribution business.
