ThyssenKrupp Reports Personnel Change on the Executive Board

ThyssenKrupp AG’s Personnel Committee is recommending to the Supervisory Board that Guido Kerkhoff (43) be appointed member of the Executive Board of ThyssenKrupp AG as successor to Dr. Alan Hippe. Kerkhoff is a member of the Deutsche Telekom AG Board of Management.
 
The need to appoint a new member arises due to Dr. Hippe’s departure from the ThyssenKrupp AG Executive Board at his own request as of March 31, 2011.
 
The appointment of Guido Kerkhoff is subject to the approval of the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Telekom AG, which must agree to the premature cancellation of Guido Kerkhoff’s contract.
 
Following this approval, ThyssenKrupp’s Supervisory Board will pass a corresponding resolution to appoint Guido Kerkhoff. This will also include the date on which the appointment will commence.
