thyssenkrupp Engages Labor on European Steel Restructuring

09/01/2016 - thyssenkrupp and labor representatives have agreed to establish a task force that is to discuss, among other things, whether the company needs to merge steelmaking operations with others, according to the Reuters.

The agreement follows a protest by steelworkers over thyssenkrupp's potential plans to merge its European steel division with that of Tata Steel's.
