The companies’ human resources teams will review resumes, and candidates deemed qualified will be contacted for interviews. The companies noted that resumes that were previously submitted to the Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce or to Alabama Industrial Development Training (AIDT) have now been turned over to ThyssenKrupp. For professional positions, there is no need to resubmit resumes.
“This is a great opportunity for new hires to get in on the ground floor of what is expected to be one of the largest private industrial development projects in the United States over the next decade,” said Andy Ritter, Vice President of Human Resources at ThyssenKrupp Steel USA. “We want to thank the Chamber and AIDT for coordinating resumes on our behalf for the past months and we are pleased that we are now ready to receive them through our own site.”
Both companies are seeking qualified professionals to fill jobs in Operations Management, Accounting and Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources, Logistics, Purchasing, Project Management, Maintenance Management, Production Planning, Steel Sales and Marketing, Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering, and Quality Assurance.
The companies said that interested candidates can view available positions and submit their resumes online via the “Careers” link at www.thyssenkruppnewusplant.com. New openings will be added regularly, and interested applicants are encouraged to visit the site often.
