The new Hot Dip Coating Line #3 is designed to produce 0.35 Mtpy of finished coils. This Line is the first one in Turkey suitable to produce Galvalume® products. Designed to serve the high quality paint application, it is equipped with a double entry end with electrical mash-seam welder and an entry vertical accumulator. The final zinc thickness will be tightly controlled by the innovative X-Jet Danieli Kohler wiping system. It will increase the quality of the zinc coating process guaranteeing extraordinary uniformity along the strip width and allowing the production of thin GL coating down to 20 g/m2 each side at 180 m/min. The strip will be then skin-passed for final roughness control, tension leveled and passivated. At the exit of the line the strip will be inspected through an in-line inspection station and then rewound on exit recoiler. The order also includes the Line electrical and automation equipment (by Danieli Automation) that guarantees the “one hand” responsibility and consequently the full control of the technological process.

The new X-Jet Air Wiping Equipment, going to be installed on the existing HDGL#1, will increase the quality of the existing zinc coating process guaranteeing excellent uniformity along the strip width and permitting the production of GI coating down to 40 g/m2 each side at 180 m/min. The revamping includes also complete new Electrical and Automation System (by Danieli Automation) for X-Jet Air Wiping Equipment.

The installation is planned for the end of August 2016.
