Texas Port Sees Bigger Slabs, and More of Them, in the Future
11/10/2020 - Ternium's multi-billion-dollar expansion of its Nuevo Leon, Mexico, facility is driving an expansion of capabilities at the Port of Brownsville in Texas, according to the Brownsville (Texas) Herald newspaper.
According to the newspaper, the port is anticipating increased slab volumes moving through the port and may have to order a new harbor crane, even after taking delivery of two new ones earlier this year.
