Ternium Announces US$98 Million Expansion to Louisiana Mill
12/20/2021 - Ternium USA Inc. last week unveiled plans to build a second steel coil coating line at its Shreveport, La., USA, facility, according to a report by the Shreveport Times.
According to the Times, the US$98 million expansion will up Ternium USA’s coated steel coil production capacity by 120,000 tons per year.
Groundbreaking on the second coating line is scheduled for the first quarter of 2022, with full commissioning to come in 2024, the Times said.
