Tenova to Supply Carbon Baking Furnaces in China
10/13/2009 - Sinosteel Advanced Materials and Tenova LOI Italimpianti, together with LOI Thermprocess (Tianjin) for local manufacturing, sign a contract for the turnkey supply of three car bottom type furnaces and one central incinerator system to be installed at Sinosteel in Zhejiang Province, P.R. China.
Sinosteel Advanced Materials (Zhejiang) Co. Ltd. and Tenova LOI Italimpianti, together with LOI Thermprocess (Tianjin) Co. Ltd. for local manufacturing, have recently signed a contract for the turnkey supply of three car-bottom type furnaces and one central incinerator system to be installed at Sinosteel in Zhejiang Province, P.R. China.
The furnaces will be used for the baking process of fine-grain carbon blocks to be further graphitized and used in the single crystal silicon pulling market. Each furnace has a gross capacity of 450 tonnes maximum and is fired by means of min/max burners system.
