Tenova Roll Grinders Selected for Vietnamese Mill
08/01/2023 - Vietnam’s Hoa Phat Group has contracted Tenova Pomini to supply roll grinders at the steelmaker’s new hot rolling mill in Dung Quat, Quang Ngai province.
Tenova said in a statement that it will provide a comprehensive set of roll grinders for work rolls and backup rolls.
“These machines are equipped with the latest and user-friendly Pomini HMI (human machine interface) for seamless operation. Additionally, they feature the cutting-edge Pomini Inspektor3, which uses eddy current and ultrasound probes to perform roll inspections,” Tenova said.
Hoa Phat representatives said Pomini was chosen because of the reliability of its equipment, which is in use at the company's hot plant.
“We are sure Pomini grinders will allow us to guarantee the supply of quality rolls also for the new hot rolling mill,” Hoa Phat Group said.
