In a statement, Tenova said the contract for the grinders arose from a standing relationship with the company. 

“The choice of our technology for Hoa Phat’s new production site confirms the good quality of the relationship that we have been able to establish with the Hoa Phat Group over the years,” said Ermanno Croci, Pomini Tenova area sales manager. 

Hoa Phat chairman Tran Dinh Long said the company expects to begin selling hot-rolled coils from the new mill this September. 
The company plans to produce up to 2 million metric tons of hot-rolled coil. It will be Vietnam’s second hot-rolled coil producer. The project also underscores the growth in the industrializing country.
