Tenova Melt Shops to Supply 300-ton Ladle Furnace to ArcelorMittal
08/31/2012 - Tenova Melt Shops has recently been contracted by ArcelorMittal to provide the turnkey supply of a 300 ton ladle furnace that will operate in an integrated cycle in an ArcelorMittal plant (ex Sidmar) located at Gent, Belgium.
Tenova Melt Shops has recently been contracted by ArcelorMittal to provide the turnkey supply of a 300 ton ladle furnace that will operate in an integrated cycle in an ArcelorMittal plant (ex Sidmar) located at Gent, Belgium, and specilized in high quality steel for automotive sector.
The turnkey technology will be operative in December 2013.
This contract follows the twin ladle furnace of 320 tons already supplied in 2006 to ArcelorMittal Poland for the plant located at Dabrowa Gornicza and confirms the high reliability of Tenova Melt Shops technology.
