Tenova LOI Thermprocess to Supply Galvanizing Equipment for Poland

09/04/2013 - LOI Thermprocess — a company of the Tenova Group — has received through its Polish subsidiary a contract from the Polish/German company Metalcynk to supply a variety of equipment for a new galvanizing plant.

The galvanizing furnace from LOI will be the key component of a completely new state-of-the-art galvanizing plant to be built by Metalcynk.
The scope of supplies under the contract includes the natural gas-fired galvanizing furnace and the drying furnace with air recirculation system and heat exchanger. The furnace will be fired by modern flat-flame burners. The dimensions of the galvanizing tank will be 19.0 x 1.9(2.1) x 3.3 m (LxWxD) and the throughput of the furnace will be up to 20 t per hour.
By constructing this new plant, Metalcynk will significantly improve the value and durability of the galvanized products as the main emphasis will be on the quality of galvanizing. The new galvanizing plant is scheduled to start production this year.
