Tenova I2S has commissioned its new ZR23CN-26 20-High Cluster Mill and 2-High Skinpass Mill at Samsung Precision Stainless Steel in Pinghu, China. The company produces 300 and 400 series stainless steels.
Tenova I2S mills are equipped with the latest automation and controls systems that produce precision stainless steel strip to 0.05 mm thickness. The mills include Tenova I2S Automating Gauge and Elongation Control, I2S gauging systems, DC digital drives and Flatness System.
The ZR23CN-26 20-High Cluster Mill produces stainless steel strip from 2.0 to 0.05 mm thickness with a strip width range of 300 to 660 mm at speeds of 600 meters per minute.
The 530-mm x 750-mm 2-High Skinpass Mill produces bright-anneal surface finish on strip thickness of 1.0 to 0.1 mm.
