Tenova Combining Three North American Units Into One
12/15/2016 - Tenova is merging three North American units into a single entity called Tenova Inc., the equipment supplier announced on Thursday.
The merger, effective 1 January 2017, brings together Tenova Core Inc., Pomini Tenova Inc. and Tenova I2S. Tenova Core president and chief executive Thomas Bovalina will remain in that position at Tenova Inc.
Tenova Inc.’s product portfolio includes melt shops, heat treating furnaces, reheating furnaces and strip processing equipment, roll shops and cold rolling mills.
“The new company will allow each product area to take advantage of Tenova’s vast global resource network and advanced technologies offerings. The combined company will also allow for a more seamless and efficient sales and delivery process for our customers in the U.S., Canada and Mexico markets,” the company said in a statement.
