Tenaris has established a new commercial structure in Natal, state of Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil, which will allow the company to be closer to its final users in Brazil’s north and northeastern regions. This new office, which was officially inaugurated in September, gives commercial representatives from Tenaris and Confab Equipamentos a permanent location to serve customers in the region.
André Teixeira, Oil and Gas Sales Coordinator in Brazil, will be Tenaris’s local representative, responsible for both the office and commercial coverage of oil and gas in the north and northeast. "Being close to our customers is fundamental for us. We need to be quick in understanding and attending their needs in order to improve our relationship," he says.
Not only Petrobras, but also other private oil companies have either headquarters or operations in the northeast. "The new location will help create business opportunities," says Roque Ivaldi, Oil & Gas Sales Manager for Brazil.
Besides the new office, Tenaris has a welded tubes mill in Pindamonhangaba and Confab Equipamentos, an industrial equipment mill, in Moreira César, along with commercial offices in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro and a service base in Rio das Ostras (RJ).
