Tenaris Expands Payroll at Texas Facility
03/26/2021 - As Tenaris brings its seamless tube mill in Texas up to full capacity, it is scaling up operations at its Conroe, Texas, facility, adding crews to the heat treatment and finishing areas, the tubemaker has said.
According to Tenaris, it is adding 140 employees and investing in a US$600,000 product tracking and traceability system.
“In a world with constrained supply chains, it is important that we stay close to our customers and manage shorter, streamlined logistics with local supply. Increasing our industrial activity at Conroe is an initial step in ramping up our operations across the U.S.,” said Tenaris US president Luca Zanotti.
