Techint Goodfellow Technologies Inc. (TGTI) and MacSteel Arkansas recently announced the successful commissioning of two Goodfellow EFSOP Systems at MacSteel’s Fort Smith, Ark., plant.

Since installation of the systems was completed in February, MacSteel Arkansas has increased productivity, improved its yield and reduced conversion costs. The company says the Goodfellow EFSOP Systems have been highly reliable and have required very little maintenance.

TGTI and MacSteel Arkansas are currently following the scheduled plan to maximize furnace operating performance and achieve additional benefits with the Goodfellow EFSOP Systems.
