Taylor-Winfield Technologies, Inc. is pleased to announce the award of a contract in excess of US$7.5 million dollars by Taigang Group International Trade Co., Ltd., located in Taiyuan, China, for the supply of four patented TwinLap Narrow Lap Seam Welders for Shanxi Taigang Stainless Steel Co., Ltd., (TISCO) CAL silicon line project. Taylor-Winfield has supplied over 36 TwinLap seam welders for silicon, full-hard and other automotive grade advance high strength steels (AHSS) lines worldwide. The TwinLap welder is widely regarded as the most practical and technically advanced seam welder for joining today’s complex phase and higher carbon equivalent steels in the market today.
