Tata BlueScope Steel Constructs Library Building for KIIT University
11/27/2014 - Tata BlueScope Steel Limited, through its EZYBUILD® Solutions Provider, Adi Durga Steel, has bagged the project to construct a library building for KIIT University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India.
The size of the project is approximately 8000 square feet and has been donated and sponsored to KIIT University by Tata Steel Limited.
KIIT University library building structure is made from hot rolled members with light gauge steel framing system that enables quick and easy installation. The wall frames and trusses are made from high strength G550 Mpa ZINCALUME® Steel that ensures corrosion free performance for years. The roof and wall cladding is made from COLORBOND® Steel which has added up to the building aesthetics. The self-drilled screws further guarantees towards high resistant and durability to the building.
The concept and design details are worked out by Tata BlueScope Steel and Auron Design Architects, Pune. The structural design of the project is done by Tata BlueScope Steel. Mr. D.K. Parida has consulted the interior and architect services. The project management and Execution has been done by Adi Durga Steel.
The project imbibes the concept of traditional architecture and innovative sustainable practices. The steel building combines safety and durability aspects as well as has qualified to maintain the aesthetics of the building.
