Taiwan Stainless Plant To Add New Grinding Mill
08/11/2015 - One of Taiwan's largest industrial conglomerates has ordered a Danieli Centro Maskin grinding mill, Danieli has announced.
The mill, which will be conditioning 300- and 400-series stainless slabs, is being added to Formosa Group's Fujian Fuxin plant in Zhangzhou, Fujian Province.
Danieli said the mill will incorporate its CastGrind technology, allowing it to work on slabs as hot as 800 degrees Celsius. The mill will consist of two main 315kW grinders and a 160kW slab edge grinder.
The grinding units will be outfitted with the HiGrind system to control grinding consistency as well as processing and safety functions under the harsh operating conditions associated with such mills.
A stepless, variable-grinding angle system, E-Cube, also will be installed, ensuring flexibility in optimizing the grinding process, Danieli said.
