Suspension Lifted for Salzgitter AG’s Delivery Contract for South Stream Pipeline Project
06/02/2015 - EUROPIPE GmbH, a 50/50 joint venture of the Salzgitter Group and AG der Dillinger Hüttenwerke, has received the information from Amsterdam-based South Stream Transport B.V. that the suspension announced 17 December 2014 concerning the contract for the delivery of steel tubes for the South Stream pipeline has been lifted with immediate effect.
Negotiations on scheduling the process of delivering the volume still outstanding of more than 150,000 tons are to be held at short notice.
The positive impact on the Salzgitter Group’s earnings is not yet quantifiable, but should fall within the range of the forecast issued on 29 April 2015 for the Group’s results in the financial year 2015.
