Members of the United Steelworkers' Local 8925 have ratified a new, three-year agreement with B & T Steel, a division of Russel Metals Inc.

The agreement carries with it 2.8% wage increases in each of the three years, along with a $300 signing bonus and pension plan improvements.

Employees with 25 years of service can now enjoy six weeks vacation. Increases have also been applied to shift premiums, life insurance, major medical, long term disability, vision care coverage, safety boot coverage, lunch allowance, and dental coverage.

Located in Stoney Creek, B & T Steel is a steel service center, distributing plate, flat rolled carbon and general line steel products.
