SSAB Adds to Roster of Steel Products
10/25/2018 - Specialty steel producer SSAB has added a new type of steel to its product mix, one that it says is geared for product manufacturers that have stamping, punching, slitting and complicate die forming operations in its production lines.
In a statement, SSAB said the steel, called Domex Plus, is particularly suited to high-volume automated production lines.
“The production process gives SSAB Domex Plus an extremely fine microstructure, which has a strong positive effect on the steel’s mechanical properties,” the company said.
