Solaris Industries Opens New Plant in North Carolina

Solaris Industries has officially opened its plant in Kings Mountain, N.C., to meet the needs of a growing customer base in the United States. The company plans to hire about 40 to 50 employees over the next two years.

"The decision to establish ourselves in the United States, a promising market for us, was part of our long-term strategy and development plan. The choice to locate this plant in North Carolina was a strategic one. Next to a major highway, this new facility has ample space to expand and add additional manufacturing capacity to capture our fair share of the market," said Denis Boulais, President and CEO of Solaris Industries.

Delhi-Solac, the parent company of Solaris, has two plants in Canada; over the past three years, it has doubled its market share in Canada. Delhi-Solac has a number of clients in the United States, notably in industries such as fencing, horse stalls, garage doors, and others.

Solaris Industries leverages more than 40 years of experience from its Canadian parent company, Delhi-Solac Inc., which is a leading manufacturer in the steel tubing industry in Canada. Solaris specializes in mechanical and coated steel tubing. Its products are used in applications such as shelters, greenhouses, furniture, medical equipment, scaffolding, roller conveyors, shopping carts, recreational vehicles, satellite dishes, etc.
