According to SMS group, the peeler has the capacity to turn bright bars with finished diameters of up to 160 mm. In addition to the machine, SMS is supplying the bar handling equipment and a special end chamfering and facing machine.

“With this new investment, Walsin Lihwa Corp. will significantly increase its capacity and expand the diameter range for peeled stainless bars from currently 80 mm to up to 160 mm,” the company said in a statement.
