According to PSI Metals, Smart Steel Technologies’ AI-based software solutions will be seamlessly integrated into the existing PSImetals Service Platform.
 
Initially, the companies will develop three AI-based software solutions for product-to-order reallocation, slab and coil classification, and liquid steel quality optimization.
 
“Both companies are pursuing the goal of a smart, fully automated factory based on the technological achievements of digitization,” said Jörg Hackmann, managing director of PSI Metals.
