According to the company, the system, from PSI Metals, is a steel industry standard. 

“With this project, SIJ Metal Ravne has acquired a fully integrated digital manufacturing architecture: from a customer management to a resource management system, including a new production management system which features a technology management system for the steel plant,” said Vladimir Arshinov, head of IT at SIJ Group.

“But this is not all there is to the digitalization of the SIJ Group’s manufacturing. On the contrary, we have further proof that our strategy to upgrade the digitalization of manufacturing is the right and only approach to manufacturing in the future,” he added.
