SKF Appoints President for Newly Formed North America Region

SKF announces the appointment of Poul Jeppesen as President North America, with an overall responsibility for Canada, Mexico and the United States. The appointment is effective as of February 1, 2011.
In his new position, Jeppesen, who previously served as President, SKF USA Inc., will report to Tom Johnstone, SKF President and CEO. Jeppesen also will be a member of SKF Group Management.
The North American market is very important for SKF and the company is stepping up its activities in the region as demonstrated also by the recent acquisition of Lincoln Industrial. To support the continuing growth of the operating Divisions in the area, SKF has formed a North American region.
Jeppesen has held several managerial positions in the areas of sales, marketing, product management and manufacturing since joining the company in 1982. He will continue to be based in Lansdale, Pa.
