Siemens VAI Metals Technologies Names New CFO
08/27/2009 - Effective October 1, Martin Krauss will become Chief Financial Officer of Siemens VAI Metals Technologies GmbH & Co.
Effective October 1, Martin Krauss will become Chief Financial Officer of Siemens VAI Metals Technologies GmbH & Co. headquartered in Linz, Austria. He succeeds Werner Auer, who became the company’s CEO on July 1.
Krauss began his career at Siemens as a trainee in industrial business administration, before earning a degree in business economics. He returned to the company in 1994 as part of the former TS (Transportation Systems) Group. Since December 2004, Krauss has served as CFO of Siemens Sanayi ve Ticart A.S. in Turkey.
With the business activities of Siemens VAI Metals Technologies, Siemens Water Technologies (Warrendale, Pa.), and Industrial Technologies (Erlangen, Germany), the Erlangen-based Siemens Industry Solutions Division is one of the world's leading solution and service providers for industrial and infrastructure facilities.
