Severstal to Supply Coking Coal and Iron Pellets to Rautaruukki
05/17/2012 - Severstal Resources Mining Division will supply Rautaruukki’s production facilities with coking coal and iron ore pellets for the next three years.
Severstal has announced that Severstal Resources Mining Division will supply Rautaruukki’s production facilities with coking coal and iron ore pellets for the next three years. Shipments will be supplies by ОАО Karelsky Okatysh and ОАО Vorkutaugol, which are managed by the Severstal Resources Mining Division.
The Mining Division’s deliveries will meet about 20% of the Finish Rautaruukki’s demand for coking coal and iron ore pellets.
Initial pellet shipments to Rautaruukki took place in May, and the first coal deliveries are scheduled to begin in July 2012.
