Severstal NA recently announced that the Martins Ferry, Ohio, coating line of Severstal Wheeling will return to operation on January 25. The move results from increased customer orders for coated light flat roll steel products.
The mill applies a zinc coating to steel that has been cold rolled at Severstal Wheeling’s Yorkville, Ohio, rolling line and steel from other Severstal North America plants. The number of recalled employees will vary from week to week based on order entry levels.
