Severstal Spends RUB1 Billion on Pipe Mill Modernization
11/25/2019 - Russian steelmaker Severstal has spent RUB1 billion (US$15.6 million) to modernize its Izhora large-diameter pipe mill.
In a statement, the company said it undertook several improvements to better support production in the Yuzhno-Kirinskoye gas field in Russia.
The first pipe on the improved line are to roll off early in 2020. The line can produce pipe in diameters of up to 508 mm.
