Severstal Selects Broner for Production Planning Project
09/01/2004 - Broner Metals Solutions has been awarded a contract by Severstal to carry out a business process re-engineering (BPR) project for production planning at its plant in Cherepovets, Russia.
Broner Metals Solutions has been awarded a contract by Severstal to carry out a business process re-engineering (BPR) project for production planning at its plant in Cherepovets, Russia.
Broner consultants will review production planning processes across the entire plant and make recommendations for changes to business processes and organizational structure. These changes will position Severstal to deliver more effectively, as part of their core strategy to increase production volumes and improve cost optimization.

Severstal is one of the largest steel producers in Russia, with an integrated iron and steel works at Cherepovets with a capacity of 10 million tons of rolled steel per annum.
