Severstal North America Appoints New VP of Human Resources
11/07/2012 - Severstal North America has appointed Ms. Olga G. Filatova Vice President, Human Resources, Severstal North America, effective 15 November 2012. Filatova replaces Mr. Melvin Baggett, who is retiring after 36 years of service with the company.
Severstal North America has appointed Ms. Olga G. Filatova Vice President, Human Resources, Severstal North America, effective 15 November 2012. Filatova replaces Mr. Melvin Baggett, who is retiring after 36 years of service with the company.
Filatova joins Severstal North America’s executive team from OAO Severstal, SNA’s Moscow-based parent company and one of the world’s largest steel and mining conglomerates. At OAO Severstal, Filatova was Talent Director, responsible for recruitment, training, performance and succession management. Previously, she worked in various talent management roles at Yukos, an oil company, and Mars, a food manufacturer. Filatova holds a Master of Strategic and Corporate Governance degree from Moscow’s Higher School of Economics, as well as an Executive MBA degree from the Stockholm School of Economics.
