Severstal Columbus Resumes Operations
05/09/2011 - OAO Severstal’s Columbus plant in Mississippi has resumed its steelmaking and rolling operations.
OAO Severstal announced that its Columbus plant in Mississippi has resumed its steelmaking and rolling operations.
As announced last week, the facility’s operations had been interrupted due to electrical power blackout resulting from a severe storm.
The company expects the Columbus plant’s operations, which are currently running at a slightly reduced level due to certain power restrictions, to come back to full production level shortly.
