SES Strikes Up Supplier Partnership With Machine Tool Maker
03/22/2016 - U.S.-based SES LLC is adding bar turning and burnishing/straightening machines to its product lineup through a new strategic partnership, the company has announced.
SES said the partnership with Japan’s Daisho Seiki Corp. will allow it to supply Daisho bar turners with capacities of up to 12 inches and burnisher/straighteners with capacities of up to five inches.
“Now a single-source supplier for complete turning and polishing lines, SES will utilize the services of (its) automation offices in Toronto, Ont., Canada, for complete automation and systems integration. SES’ automation team will incorporate North American electrical hardware for not only the Daisho equipment, but for a complete process solution,” the company said in a statement.
