Seasoned Rail Professional Joins EVRAZ North America Sales Team
09/13/2013 - EVRAZ North America announced that Brian Elgart has joined its Pueblo, Colo., commercial rail team as director, sales — rail and semi-finished products.
Elgart spent the last ten years as director — rail sales at ArcelorMittal. He was district sales manager for a few years at Midwest Steel Corp., and for nine years at LB Foster Company. He worked closely with Class I and other rail accounts at all three companies, and has proven his capability in every aspect of the industry.

"Brian has more than 30 years of experience in rail, and we're excited to bring that expertise to EVRAZ as we build on the operational and technological investments we’ve been making at our Pueblo facility."
Substantial rail investments have focused on advanced automated inspection systems, improved rail end straightness and exact symmetrical tolerances. In addition, a new state-of-the-art Product Technology Center and an expanded staff of engineers and metallurgists support extensive internal testing capabilities and the accelerated development of next-generation premium rail products and technologies.
