SDI Places Order With TMEIC for a New Pickle Line Automation System
06/01/2015 - A brand new push-pull pickle line at Steel Dynamics Inc. in Butler, Indiana will be controlled by an advanced automation system from TMEIC.
The pickle line will work in conjunction with an existing leveler, which will also be upgraded with a new control system from TMEIC.
TMEIC deliverables include low voltage TMdrive-10e2 variable frequency drives, AC motors and motor control center, nv Series programmable controllers, Level 1 and 2 control, computers, HMI operator interfaces, and high-speed fiber-optic communications. Also included is commissioning, start up and system performance optimization.
