Schulz to Step Down from ThyssenKrupp AG Supervisory Board

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ekkehard D. Schulz (70) has informed the ThyssenKrupp AG Executive Board and Supervisory Board that he is standing down from the company’s Supervisory Board as of December 31, 2011.
 
“By taking this step I wish to end public discussion concerning myself in connection with the investments at ThyssenKrupp Steel Americas,” said Prof. Dr.-Ing. Schulz.
 
The Executive Board and Supervisory Board recognize Prof. Dr.-Ing. Schulz’s lifetime achievements and the outstanding contribution he made to the company in forty years of service.
 
The Executive Board and Supervisory Board respect Prof. Dr.-Ing. Schulz’s decision and thank him for his good work throughout the years.
