SANGRAF International Names New CEO, Opens European Office
10/09/2014 - SANGRAF International SA, a global manufacturer of premium graphite electrodes, announced the opening of its European office in Geneva, Switzerland, to service customers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
This office will provide premium carbon and graphite electrodes and services to assist SANGRAF customers in optimizing their processes and achieving the lowest total cost of ownership.
The Swiss office is being established to supplement the company’s U.S. office, which serves the Americas, and is the next logical step to better service SANGRAF customers with a local presence around the world.
SANGRAF also announced the addition of Dr. Said Alameddine as CEO of SANGRAF International SA.
Dr. Alameddine is a carbon, graphite and steel industries veteran with over 25 years of industry experience. He will be responsible for strategic growth initiatives including SANGRAF International’s EMEA customers and is a welcome addition to SANGRAF International’s global team of industry veterans.
Dr. Alameddine has a background that includes a PhD in nuclear chemistry and an engineering degree in chemistry and physics from the University of Bordeaux as well as an MBA in corporate finance from HEC School of Business in Lausanne. Languages include English, French and Arabic.
