The new 284,000-square-foot building will allow the structural tubemaker to consolidate multiple operations currently located elsewhere and provide room for future expansion.

The company estimates that 50 additional jobs will be created at the new facility in addition to the 190 workers currently employed at the Birmingham location.

The facility should be completed by 31 December 2020.
