Salzgitter Acquires Statendam Steel Plates
01/16/2020 - Salzgitter trading subsidiary by Salzgitter Mannesmann Staalhandel B.V. has acquired heavy plate trader Statendam Steel Plates B.V. for an undisclosed amount, Salzgitter has announced.
Founded in 2000, Statendam Steel supplies the construction, trading, boiler manufacturing, mechanical engineering, metalworking and shipbuilding industries in the Netherlands. The acquisition extends Salzgitter Mannesmann Staalhandel’s product portfolio and enhances its presence in the Netherlands, it said.
