SAIL Develops Special Cold-Weather Steel
09/30/2016 - The Steel Authority of India Ltd. has developed a type of steel designed specifically for use in extremely cold environments and has shipped its first order, reports the Business Standard newspaper.
According to the newspaper, the steel is designed to retain its characteristics at temperatures of -20 degrees Celsius. It recently shipped a 425-ton order, according to the newspaper.
