SAIL Board of Directors OKs Term Sheet for Auto Steel Joint Venture
12/13/2017 - The board of directors at the Steel of Authority of India Ltd. has voted to proceed with planning for a joint-venture automotive steel plant with ArcelorMittal, reports the Press Trust of India.
According to the news agency, the board approved a non-binding term sheet on Tuesday. As proposed, the joint-venture plant would be designed to produce 1.5 million metric tons of automotive steel annually.
