Ruukki Pural Farm Color-Coated Steel Prolongs Useful Life of Agricultural Buildings
08/14/2013 - Ruukki is to launch a new polyurethane-based Ruukki Pural farm color-coated steel formulated especially for agricultural buildings, where resistance to corrosion and chemicals is required.
Suitable for demanding conditions, Pural farm coating is more than 50% thicker and has better wear resistance than conventional polyester coatings traditionally used in agricultural buildings.
"A thick coating results in maximum useful life for agricultural buildings. Pural farm color-coated steel cuts maintenance needs and costs incurred by the end user. The coating has good moisture resistance and is easy to clean," says Thomas Hörnfeldt, SVP, special steels & international sales at Ruukki.
Pural farm color-coated steel sheets are ideal for the walls, ceilings and roofs of agricultural buildings such as cowsheds, henhouses, piggeries, dairies and storage facilities. Pural farm is an excellent coating for the steel sheets used in the sandwich panels of insulated buildings. A double-sided coating is available for profiles used in un-insulated buildings.
