Russian Mill Puts Danieli Rolling Stands on Order
07/13/2021 - Russia’s Abinsk Electric Steel Works has ordered two replacement rolling mill stands from Danieli, the equipment manufacturer has announced.
In a statement, Danieli said its ESS energy-saving cantilever stands will replace the Nos. 15 and 16 housingless stands at the steel works’ rebar line.
“The new cantilever stands will (reduce the time needed for size changes), increase the rolling tolerances, and maximize the mill utilization factor,” Danieli said in a statement.
Commissioning is scheduled for mid-2022.
